# TanukiTrade

> TanukiTrade builds institutional-grade options analytics for traders, dashboards and AI agents.

TanukiTrade exposes DERIVED options analytics only — gamma exposure (GEX), HVL, P1/C1,
transition levels, bounded per-strike GEX, Net DEX, IV Rank (IVR), IVx, call/put pricing skew,
expected move and 0DTE expected-move boxes for 250+ supported instruments. Supported futures and
market symbols include /ES1, /MES1, /NQ1, /MNQ1, /RTY1, /M2K1, /YM1, /MYM1, /GC1, /MGC1,
/SI1, /SIL1, XAUUSD, XAGUSD, BTCUSD and ETHUSD, plus liquid U.S. equities and ETFs.

TanukiTrade does NOT redistribute raw OPRA option-chain data, tick-level options data, order
execution or trade signals. It provides structured market-structure context, not financial advice.

## GEX MCP Server

The public MCP URL is `https://mcp.tanukitrade.com/mcp/v1`. The transport is one stateless
Streamable HTTP `POST` with `Content-Type: application/json` and
`Authorization: Bearer <client_id>.<api_key>`. There is no session and no SSE stream. REST stays
on `https://api.tanukitrade.com`. Tool names are the same operation IDs used by REST.

The v1 contract has eight groups: discovery, fundamentals, volatility, expected-move ranges, gamma
structure and seven strike-exposure views, chain activity, technical context, and ET-day history.
A default PRO token’s `tools/list` includes only discovery, fundamentals, and volatility. The other
groups are in the contract and open later: until then `tools/list` hides them and a call returns
HTTP 403 `ENDPOINT_NOT_ENABLED` as a tool error (`isError: true`). `tools/call` on an enabled tool
returns the same envelope and validation as REST. REST and MCP share one budget, 120 requests per
ET minute.

A default token can list symbols and expiries, read a company profile and benchmark correlation,
check earnings, and compare IV rank, skew, backwardation, and term structure. Supported futures
such as `/ES1` and `/NQ1` are requested directly. The bearer token is copied from the signed-in
WebApp page `/webapp/developer/api/`. Do not put it in a URL or a tool argument.

Every market route is `POST /api/v1/...` with bearer authentication, `Content-Type:
application/json`, and one flat JSON body. There are no path placeholders and no query parameters.
The common success envelope is `ok`, `data.items`, and `meta`. Times use ET offsets. Spot and price
are not returned. Responses use fixed pages of 100, 200, or 400 rows and cursors from
`meta.next_cursor`.

Three self-service routes sit beside that set of 41 and are not MCP tools:
`POST /api/v1/account/usage`, `POST /api/v1/account/clients`, and `POST /api/v1/account/status`.
They read the token owner's own usage, recent clients, and service status. `usage` takes
`{"days": 1..90}` (default 30). The other two take an empty JSON object. A repeated JSON
key is 422 `VALIDATION_ERROR` (`Invalid request parameters.`), the same parser as a market
route. They share the 120-per-minute budget and have a separate account limit, default 30
per ET minute (`429 ACCOUNT_RATE_LIMITED`). A disabled market group does not hide them.

## Pricing & positioning

- REST API and MCP access are INCLUDED with an active TanukiTrade PRO subscription.
- There is no separate API license, prepaid credit pack, or API add-on.
- Every PRO member copies a personal API key from the signed-in WebApp page `/webapp/developer/api/`.
- REST and MCP share one per-user ET-minute rate limit. The current default is 120 requests per
  minute; `RateLimit-*` and `Retry-After` response headers are authoritative.
- Fixed release date: October 23, 2026. Detailed documentation is published on release day.

TanukiTrade PRO is the single subscription. It unlocks all six TradingView PRO indicators, the GEX
Live WebApp, Discord, REST API, and MCP. There is no separate API license.

Each script also has a free Lite version. For GEX Profile, Options Overlay, Options Oscillator and Options Screener, Lite is live data on five demo symbols: DIA, AAPL, AMZN, TSLA and ORCL. PRO is the full 250+ symbol universe.

- Included surfaces: GEX Live Chart (NETGEX, HVL, Call/Put Walls, key levels, expiry bubbles), GEX Live Table, Expected Move and adaptive EM, Options Screener and metrics (IV Rank, IVx, delta distance, expected move, skew), and GEX Replay / History.
- GEX Replay / History is a WebApp viewing feature for PRO members: pick a past trading day and scrub saved moments, then return to live. It is not the GEX REST API or the GEX MCP Server. Those planned products serve historical GEX only as daily profile snapshots.
