Member strategies and Alpha Contributors

Study how members build an analysis, select an options structure, manage a position, and review what happened. Use the discussions to understand decisions and their limitations.

Educational use only — no copy trading

Member strategy posts are not trading advice or signals. Trades are not guaranteed to be posted in real time, and updates may be incomplete or delayed. Do not copy trades from this section onto a live account.

What an Alpha Contributor shares

Alpha Contributors are community members who voluntarily share practical explanations and experience for free. Their dedicated tags and channels help you find those discussions. The role does not guarantee trading performance or make a post a recommendation for your account.

Members who consistently contribute useful, detailed write-ups may be invited to participate. Start by documenting your own work in member-trades; there is no need to hold a contributor role to share a thoughtful review.

Build a useful trade journal

Before the decision

Record the context

Include the symbol, date, expiration scope, relevant levels, event calendar, and the scenario you are investigating.

During and after

Explain what changed

Describe the structure, risk, management decisions, invalidated assumptions, execution, and lessons. Include adverse outcomes as well as favorable ones.

A later profit does not make the initial analysis certain. Likewise, collecting a credit or adding a hedge does not by itself establish that remaining risk is lower. Explain the complete position rather than only its final result.

Participate constructively

  • Ask about the analysis and assumptions in the original thread.
  • Explain your reasoning instead of telling another member what to buy or sell.
  • Keep account identifiers, email addresses, balances, and billing details out of screenshots.
  • Follow the rules on promotions, referrals, and redistribution of member content.

For guided review exercises, see Trade walkthrough lessons. The server rules and community guidelines govern participation.
