Getting Started
FAQ.
Do I get a password?
No. Enter the email and TradingView username linked to your TanukiTrade account, then enter the 6-digit code sent to your email. For the sign-in steps, see Step 1.
Which TradingView username should I use?
Use the username in your TradingView profile URL, tradingview.com/u/YOUR_USERNAME/. A display name will not match. If you change your TradingView username, contact support through the webchat to update the username linked to your TanukiTrade account.
How do I add an indicator that is missing from my chart?
Open Indicators and select Invite-only, then select a TanukiTrade indicator to add it to your chart. If the TanukiTrade indicators are not listed, sign out of TradingView and sign back in. If the indicators are still missing 15 minutes after checkout, confirm that you are signed in to the TradingView account linked to your TanukiTrade subscription. For further checks, see troubleshooting.
Which indicators are included with PRO?
PRO includes six indicators: GEX Profile PRO, Options Overlay PRO, Options Oscillator PRO, Options Screener PRO, 0DTE EM Box PRO, and GEX History PRO. Step 2 explains what each indicator displays and how to add it to your chart. You do not need to add all six to one chart. The number of indicators you can add to one chart depends on your TradingView plan.
Is Discord required?
No. You do not need a Discord account to use the TradingView indicators, the GEX Live WebApp, the REST API, or MCP. Connecting Discord in My Account is only required if you want to join the TanukiTrade Discord server, access member channels, and use the Discord GEX bots.
Why can the analytics differ between TradingView and the WebApp?
TradingView indicators receive about five scheduled updates on a weekday, approximately 6:40–6:50 AM, 9:40–9:50 AM, 12:40–12:50 PM, 2:40–2:50 PM, and 3:40–3:50 PM ET. A scheduled update may take a few minutes to appear on the chart. WebApp analytics refresh about once a minute from 6:40 AM to 4:00 PM ET on weekdays. Spot prices stream separately in real time while the live feed is available. When comparing analytics, use the same symbol and expiry scope and check when each view last updated. Use Manual Override to copy current WebApp levels into the matching TradingView indicator view.
Which symbols are supported?
PRO covers supported U.S. stocks, ETFs, and indices, plus mapped futures. The watchlist is on TradingView. /CL and /NG do not get a GEX profile.
Will someone tell me what to trade?
No. Levels provide analytical context, not buy or sell signals. Discord provides community help and educational resources, not trading signals or trade recommendations. See the member-strategy notice for guidance on member posts and educational examples.
My account is set up. Which tool should I open?
Use GEX Matrix to compare expirations, Options Screener to filter supported symbols, and Options Overlay PRO to view metrics on your TradingView chart. Use GEX Live to explore current options analytics, or try /gex0 SPX for a same-day expiry lookup in Discord. For REST API and AI agent integrations, start with the API chapter.
