The PRO indicators receive about five scheduled options-data updates per U.S. trading day. The windows below are approximate, and delivery to your chart may take a few minutes.

The indicators retain the latest received options-data snapshot between scheduled updates.

Scheduled update windows

These are approximate delivery windows on U.S. trading days. In GEX Profile PRO, hover over the HVL label to check the timestamp of the snapshot currently in use.

Compare TradingView and WebApp updates

TradingView indicators use scheduled options-data snapshots. WebApp analytics refresh about once a minute from 6:40 AM to 4:00 PM ET on weekdays. Spot prices stream separately in real time while the live feed is available. Match the symbol and expiry view, then check the update timestamp when comparing analytics between the two.

Outside analytics update hours

Outside analytics update hours, the WebApp shows the latest saved analytics. TradingView indicators keep the last received options-data snapshot. A futures price chart can continue updating overnight while the mapped gamma levels remain based on that snapshot.

If an indicator does not display on a 1-minute chart before the first scheduled update, try a 2-minute or higher timeframe. You can also check again after the first scheduled update has arrived.

Use newer analytics between scheduled updates

  • Check the latest analytics. Open the WebApp for minute-by-minute updates during weekday update hours, or use /gex0 and /gex in Discord.
  • After a scheduled release. Check whether the WebApp has newer analytics than the current TradingView snapshot.
  • Copy current levels to your chart. Follow the manual override guide to paste current WebApp levels into GEX Profile PRO.
