Manual Override in GEX Profile PRO.

Manual Override lets you copy current options levels from the WebApp or Discord and paste them into GEX Profile PRO between the five scheduled TradingView updates.

VideoHow to use Manual Override in GEX Profile PROCopy current levels from the WebApp or Discord /levels and paste them into the Manual Override input in GEX Profile PRO.

How to copy and paste levels

  1. Copy from the WebApp: open GEX Live Chart and select Copy levels (for one expiration or a scope such as 0, W1, or ALL). You can also copy from the Net GEX column header in GEX Live Table; see Copy levels to TradingView.
  2. Or copy from Discord: run /levels in the bot channel and copy the output (for example, /levels SPX for all expirations on SPX, /levels 0 for the nearest-expiration role, /levels W1 for the first weekly role, or /levels ALL for the full dataset). Check the actual expiration dates. See Discord levels exports for details.
  3. Open indicator settings on TradingView: open GEX Profile PRO → Settings → Inputs.
  4. Paste and apply: paste the copied string into the Manual Override input field and select OK.

What the HVL status icon means

The HVL label on the chart shows whether Manual Override or the scheduled snapshot is currently active:

IconMeaning
📋✔The pasted Manual Override data is active for this symbol and expiry view.
📋💤A pasted string is stored, but a newer scheduled snapshot has arrived. The chart uses the newer scheduled snapshot.
📋❌The pasted string does not contain data for the current symbol and expiry view. The chart falls back to the scheduled snapshot.
No iconThe Manual Override field is empty. The chart uses the scheduled snapshot.

Hover over the HVL label to view the snapshot timestamp, the expiry scope, and the source note.

How priority and mapped symbols work

For the active symbol and expiry view on your chart, GEX Profile PRO compares the timestamp of your pasted data with the latest scheduled TradingView snapshot and automatically uses whichever is newer. A paste does not permanently lock the chart: when a newer scheduled update arrives, the indicator switches back to the scheduled data unless you paste a fresher snapshot.

The newer snapshot takes priority An example for the same symbol and expiry view: the chart first uses a scheduled snapshot. Pasting data with a later timestamp makes that pasted data active. When a scheduled snapshot with a later timestamp arrives, the chart automatically uses the scheduled data again. The newer snapshot takes priority Example sequence · Same symbol and expiry view 1 Scheduled snapshot CHART USES Scheduled data 2 Newer pasted data CHART USES Pasted data 3 Newer scheduled snapshot CHART USES Scheduled data Newer means a later data timestamp.

Mapped futures and spot-proxy charts (such as /ES, /MES, or XSP) accept a paste from their underlying SPX options family; see Futures mapping. To clear an override manually, empty the Manual Override field in Settings.

Troubleshooting

  • 📋💤 appears after pasting: the scheduled snapshot on the chart is already newer than or equal to the pasted data.
  • 📋❌ appears after pasting: the copied payload does not include the symbol or expiry scope currently selected on your chart. Copy a wider scope (such as ALL) or match the expiry setting.
  • Clipboard copy fails in the browser: Safari can block clipboard access for large text strings; try Chrome, Firefox, or Edge, or use the /levels text file in Discord.
